The Biggest Lie You Tell Yourself
"I don't have enough time."
"20 minutes until next meeting, not enough time to do something meaningful. Let's waste time scrolling the Facebook newsfeed or play a game."
"15 minutes is not enough to get into the flow so it's useless to be productive for 15 minutes."
"1 hour is not enough time to finish this task so don't even start."
"You don't have enough time today, do it tomorrow."
This is your biggest procrastination excuse ever.
The two biggest lies:
"I read and accept the terms of the agreement."
and "This is the last time I do this, never again, tomorrow will be different."
Or "not this time but next time yes".
Your brain tricks you.
You already did it a thousand times but somehow you think that the next time will be different.
Come on, be aware and change something.
It's so easy to waste time.
10 minutes here, 35 minutes there, 1 hour here, 2 hours there, ...
All these minutes compound into a huge daily waste of time.
Warren Buffett's rules to make money:
Rule number 1: Never lose money.
Rule number 2: Never forget rule number 1.
Time is a more valuable asset than money.
So following Warren Buffett's rules, you should never "lose time".
Invest all your time into something that compounds and gives you more time when you get older.
All that time investment can give you more time, freedom, money, wealth, relationships, happiness, etc.
All the time you waste now robs you of your future freedom.
So rule #1: Never waste time.
Rule #2: never forget rule number 1.
You never don't have 'enough time'.
Time is an illusion.
Make the best out of the present moment.
