Do The {Important & NOT Urgent} Tasks First

The trap is to do the {important & urgent} tasks first.

The trap is to do the {not important & urgent} tasks first.

The trap is to do the completely useless tasks first.

You waste HOURS doing urgent and useless tasks.

Then you don't have energy and focus left for important tasks.

You only have 3-5 hours per day where you can focus optimally and practice deliberately.

As the sun goes down, your willpower depletes, your focus gets worse, and your energy gets low.

You need to be smart about your resources.

Yes, playing video games in the morning is the best because you play way better.

It's more fun.

But video games aren't very beneficial in achieving your goals.

Important tasks = tasks that are beneficial to your goals

If your main goal is to make money to make sure that your family doesn't live on the streets, then your most important tasks are the tasks that help you develop money-making skills.

Let's take some of your current goals:

Make more money -> develop marketing skills

Develop meaningful relationships -> read books about relationships & spend more time with friends and family

Personal growth -> read books, watch YouTube videos, watch courses, create content, teaching, writing, journaling, meditating, reflecting, visualization, affirmation, exercising, cooking, etc

Improve health -> exercising & cooking

Be present like Eckhart Tolle -> practice being present 24/7

Feel good -> listen to music, dancing, enjoy food and drinks, hang out with friends, gratitude, etc

So these are examples of your important tasks.

It makes sense to allocate your resources into these tasks rather than tasks that are not important.

You will reach your goals faster that way.

You will achieve more and have a bigger legacy.

You will have less regrets.

You will be more happy and fulfilled.

So spend more focus, time, and energy on important tasks.

Cut out the non-important tasks.

The morning hours are the best so especially in the morning, spend more time on important tasks rather than non-important ones.

As the sun goes down and you get tired, you can do more useless tasks.

AND don't do the urgent tasks first.

Because that would create a habit of taking action on urgency instead of importance.

The most important is the most important.

Put all your focus, time, and energy on important tasks.

Urgent tasks can actually wait.

If you do the important first, you will never have {important & urgent} tasks because you will finish everything before they become urgent.

Do the {important & NOT urgent} tasks first.
