Why You Should Go To The Gym Every Day
Well, this one is obvious.
But you are still not doing it.
You are ruining your health.
But you actually don't care.
You know all the amazing benefits of going to the gym.
But you are not motivated by any of them right now.
And that's exactly why you are writing this post.
You evaluated yourself last week on your different areas of life.
And physical health is easily your most neglected area of your life.
And the funny thing is, it would be so easy to go from a 1/5 to a 5/5.
Here are the only 2 things you would need to do:
1) Go to the gym every day or at least regularly
2) Eat healthier: make sure to eat more vegetables, get your micronutrients in, and start cooking more often.
Unfortunately it is hard to get optimal nutrition without cooking.
The thing is, if you do number 1), it will be easier to do number 2) because you don't want your muscle gains to be lost because of poor nutrition.
So actually, just start going to the gym, that's it.
And here are the easy next steps: find a new gym close to your place then try 1 session there.
How hard is this?
Block 1 hour of your day tomorrow.
Actually, block 4 pm to 5 pm every day for gym time.
Alright, you even put it on Google Calendar just now, perfect.
Now, I know that you are still not motivated enough.
So let's finish this post by motivating yourself.
The costs of not going to the gym:
- die younger
- muscle loss -> aesthetics
- feeling weak
- back pain, neck pain, joint pain
- low energy
- more stress and anxiety
- feeling like crap during the day instead of feeling on top of the world
- worse sleep than if I train
- less focus
- less productivity
Alright, from these, the ones that motivate you the most are: feeling like crap, back pain, aesthetics, bad sleep, and less focus.
Obviously you want to feel great.
Imagine a life where you feel freaking awesome all the time.
You wake up energized because you slept so well because you exercised the day before.
You just feel good during the day because you are freaking healthy and your body is running on optimal fuel, on optimal performance.
You don't lose focus because while you are mastering your body, you are also mastering your mind.
You don't feel any back pain or neck pain anymore because you are strong and muscular.
On top of all these, you look better and better naked. This may sound weird but you enjoy looking at yourself in the mirror every morning.
You don't only progress in one area of your life. You progress in ALL areas of your life.
Alright, you feel a bit more motivated.
Tomorrow, you will go to the gym at 4 pm.
