How to Develop The Vision to Become a World-Class Marketer
Previously, we talked about the vision about survival and never worrying about money again.
That's awesome.
But you also need a long-term vision.
A person who aims to be a billionaire will make money faster than a person who aims to be a millionaire.
The wanna-be billionaire will also be more excited and motivated.
(As long as he is confident that it's possible that he becomes a billionaire.)
Survival is only the first step, it's a short-term, small millionaire goal.
With some luck, you could have a thriving 6-figure funnel tomorrow that gives you the passive income that you need to survive.
Or whatever, let's say that you could win the lottery, sitting on $1M cash. Once that money is invested smartly, survival is not an issue.
When you are close to a goal, you always need to already look at the next goal.
Alex Becker says to not even think in terms of 5-year or 10-year goal but in terms of 30+ year goals.
Well, it's always nice to have a long-term vision.
So let's develop that long-term vision right now.
We'll only talk about marketing today; the motivation and vision you need to improve your marketing skills.
Marketing is fun.
But you can do marketing for any product.
Why not choose the most fun product to do marketing for?
You would probably have the most fun if you did marketing for your own product that you developed yourself.
It's fun to develop a product.
You never tried to though.
You would have fun developing a video game.
You would have fun developing a SaaS.
You would have fun developing a useful mobile app.
You would have fun building an awesome website.
You would have fun writing a book.
You would have fun creating content, educating people, entertaining people, helping people.
You would have fun teaching people how to meditate.
You would have fun building an online learning platform.
You would have fun creating board games and card games.
You would have fun building a lot of different products and advertising them.
Whatever businesses you will build in the future, it can be fun, and marketing can be fun too.
And actually, that's it.
You have your answer.
Improve your marketing skills so that whatever businesses you will build in the future will have world-class marketing that outperforms all the competition with a unique product.
And you can restrict your niches to industries you are interested in.
Your worst nightmare would be to have the best product in the world with only good but not great marketing.
Keep that image in mind.
Now go practice.
