Sales letter to myself #1:

The Start

A few days ago, I had this idea: "What if I wrote a sales letter to myself every day?"

And I got super excited about.

You know, you can just feel it when you are intrinsically motivated about something. You just know it. You want to take action and you are enthusiastic about it.

So here we are.

I don't know what I will write about next, I'm deciding on the fly as I'm writing this.

Let's decide on a goal: convince myself to write 'sales letter to myself #2' tomorrow.

So the CTA (call to action) would be: commit to writing 'sales letter to myself #2' at the end of this post.

What is the offer? What is the dream outcome I want to sell myself?

Let's see...

Why am I writing a sales letter to myself?

- To persuade myself to stop procrastinating

- To become a better writer, and copywriter

- Because I love posting on Facebook, I get some dopamine from the few likes I get and I sometimes give value to the world

- To build a sustainable habit that is positively impacting my life

- To have more respect for myself by doing what I say I will do and be more truthful towards myself

- To grow personally and work on my mindset

- To have perspective and feel like I master myself by persuading myself. Also have control over myself.

Why?

To have confidence in myself, to believe more in myself, to be truthful to myself.

Why?

To feel like I could achieve anything, to feel good all the time, to be present, to have inner peace, to have everything aligned and have harmony.

Okay, I resonate more with "to feel like I could achieve anything by having complete control over myself".

What is my #1 pain?

Boredom.

What is my #1 objection and false belief?

I'm not sure. I probably hardly underestimate the effort necessary to achieve anything. And I overestimate how hard it is. (Actually I got this from the book Effortless by Greg McKeown.)

Alright, how can I improve the offer by giving instant, guaranteed results with no effort?

Instant & guaranteed results: when you are writing, you improve writing skills instantly. After clicking post, you also get instant result by having the post instantly posted.

No effort: just write some random words and post on Facebook, super easy.

What framework/structure will I use for this sales letter?

Empathy/understanding -> call to action

Here we go...

***

Bro, I have a secret to tell you...

You are stupid.

Yeah I know, because I am you.

How can I be wrong?

You are wrong.

Confused yet?

Because I am...

So you are bored.

Obviously, since you are reading (and writing) this.

And when you are bored, bad things happen.

No plan, don't know what to do, so you go out to eat some junk food, you drink some bubble tea, you drink coffee, you read mangas, you watch animes, you play video games,...

And bam, you waste a few hours of your life that you will never remember because they didn't create any strong, lasting, and happy memories.

You repeat this over and over. And life goes by.

As someone impulsive, in this distracting world, it's easy to get distracted.

Buy some random stuff online, watch a few YouTube videos...

And bam, another few hours wasted.

I understand you, man.

You are bored, you are distracted, you don't have any desire to conquer the world.

Life is boring.

It's true.

After reading The Power of Now, you know that there is more to this world and that every moment is miraculous.

But you can't get rid of this paradox inside you.

Society that judges you by the size of your bank account.

Family that wants you to succeed.

Friends that want your happiness.

They all want more than you yourself want.

You want absolutely nothing.

You just want this paradox to stop and find peace.

It's so peaceful when you are present, and you don't worry about anything. You disappear and you become one with the world.

But you still need to be responsible, provide for yourself and your family.

It is your duty and obligation to be rich.

It is selfish to be poor.

Because the wealthier you are, the more you help people and make this world a better place.

So yeah bro, you have the duty and obligation to be wealthy.

And it all starts now.

F procrastination in the ass.

You are going to be wealthy as a whale.

I believe in you.

Most wealthy people are either great at sales, marketing, software/product development, or investing.

You will start with marketing.

Once you have the skills, you will be confident to be financially confident for life.

You will start by improving your copywriting skills.

You will write every single day.

And you will love it.

Words that make money and get 2 Facebook likes? Best feeling in the world.
Writing is an evergreen skill that is useful for everything until the end of times.

And you want to write books later, right? Might as well start to improve your writing skills now.

Imagine this: you write this random sales letter to yourself on Facebook and you instantly improve your writing skills effortlessly.

You persuade yourself to stop procrastinating, you take control over your mind, you take control over your feelings, and you finally become disciplined to be able to achieve anything.

With complete control over yourself, you finally become peaceful and feel good all the time.

You start an exponential compounding growth that snowballs into wealth, success, and happiness.

And all you need right now, is to commit to this one thing:

That you will write 'sales letter to myself #2' tomorrow.

Do it now. Each second you delay is a second you erase from your compounding growth before your death.

A second now in your youth is worth more than a second later when you are 135 years old.

So start now, because there is only now.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is now.

F man, stop writing this. Take action. (lol)

This is probably the only time that your motivation will be high. If you miss this window, you miss this opportunity.

Alright, enough scarcity and urgency tactics.

See you tomorrow.
