Pay attention to your feet.

Pay attention to your hands and feet together.

That's it.

If you do this multiple times per day, you will be more present already.


If you want to take this to the next level:

  • You can pay attention to your breath + hands and feet at the same time
  • You can expand from your hands and feet to feeling your whole body as one

One level further:

  • open your awareness to a space beyond your body, become formless, and experience the unknown beyond what you can describe
  • open your awareness to everything and stop focusing on one thing

You can repeat this process until your mind becomes silent, you stop observing and you are only experiencing, you become totally present and one with the universe.

Eckhart Tolle says in his book Practicing the Power of Now that 10-15 minutes should be sufficient to become deeply present.

You can get a lot of benefits just from focusing on your hands a few times per day.
