3 Life-Changing Tips to Get Motivation & Take Action
As the laziest man on the planet, and as a master procrastinator, I can easily analyze what makes me take action and what doesn't.
And you can too.
If you think about it, every good habit, and your behaviors that stick come naturally, effortlessly, with no willpower cost.
And that's because we only do things we truly want to do.
And when we truly want to do something, it is effortless. No motivation required.
Tip #1: Inspiration is a higher form of motivation
Nothing will inspire you more than learning about someone who achieved the same results that you want to achieve.
For example: want to lose weight? Talk to 5 people you trust and you can relate to that successfully lost weight and ask them to share their stories with you.
Tip #2: Importance & Desire
What do you really want?
You can look at how you spend your time, your energy, and what you are thinking about all day.
You probably already know what are the most important things to you and what you really want.
What you want usually comes from the lacks and the voids you have or had in your life.
You can do it. Other people have done it before you so you can do it too.
And you can make money out of it. Brainstorm with people who are business-savvy about it.
*If you want to achieve something that is not important to you and you don't really want to do it, you can link it to what you really want by thinking about how it benefits all the things you really want.
Tip #3: The next step
Think about what's the next step to take action on what you want to do.
Then block the time in your calendar and put an alarm on your phone to do it.
